One of the joyful experiences every Christian wants to be a part of is to lead another person to their Savior, Jesus Christ. Have you ever had that experience? You want to, believe me! Evangelism, winning others to Jesus Christ, renews your personal faith, encourages you, builds up the church, changes lives, delivers the lost and sets those in bondage free. There is great Joy in sharing your love of Christ.

Many believe the above is true, yet very few share the gospel of Christ. The reason is that we feel so inadequate and fear we do not know what to say, we cannot remember scripture, we do not understand the Bible ourselves, or we fear someone will reject our love and us. It is also true, that when we learn how to share and love, the fears go away, and we are effective in sharing our love and excitement of Jesus Christ with others.

The following event, MORAINE PARK SUMMER FESTIVAL, with Steve Wingfield, will provide various opportunities to show you how to evangelize and win friends, neighbors, family and others to Jesus Christ. The simplest way may be to bring someone to the event on June 13-15 and prayerfully ask God to save your friend. Several prayer events have already occurred where Christ would reach people who come to the event. You and our church have been prayed for as we reach the lost. Would you plan to attend one or several of the upcoming activities in SUPPORT OF EVANGELISM. There you will learn some ways to evangelize. In April and May, there will be specific training on how to share the gospel to win people to Jesus.
